Due to the resignation of a member of the Council, a supplementary election is necessary to fill the vacancy of Councillor for Central Ward.

Nominating

Becoming a member of council is a great way to represent and help make a difference to your local community.

The nomination period for the vacancy of Councillor for Central Ward opens Thursday 27 August 2020 and will close at 12 noon on Thursday 10 September 2020.

If you are interested in nominating, nomination kits are available from the council office at 324 Commercial Street West, Mount Gambier.

A candidate briefing session will be held for intending candidates with a date to be confirmed closer to the event.
