The nomination period for the vacancy of Councillor for Telowie Ward opens Friday 29 May 2020 and will close at 12 noon on Friday 12 June 2020.
If you are interested in nominating, nomination kits will be available from the council office at 3 Stuart Street, Melrose SA. Before visiting the Council please first contact the Council Liaison Officer:

To submit your nomination form electronically, you need to print the relevant form, sign it, scan it and email it to Electoral.Commissioner@sa.gov.au along with your profile statement and photograph (optional) by no later than 12 noon, Friday 12 June 2020.
Please note that if you choose to submit a photo you must write a statement on the back with the words ‘This is a photograph of <your name> taken within the past 12 months’, and also sign the back of the photo.

Nomination forms
IMPORTANT – before filling out one of the below nomination forms we strongly encourage you to call the council liaison officer on 8666 2014 for advice. Candidates often use the wrong form, or fill in the form incorrectly, which can result in a nomination not being accepted. Make sure you get advice before nominating and then submit your nomination well before the deadline of 12 noon Friday 12 June 2020 so any deficiencies can be rectified.
If you intend to nominate as an elector in your own right you must complete and lodge LG3:

Please note that late nominations cannot be accepted. It is strongly recommended that you lodge your nomination early to allow time to rectify any potential problems.
