Elections for the Architectural Practice Board of South Australia are held every three years. The board is composed of three elected members and four other appointed members.
Election of three (3) Registered Architects to the Board
An election is to be held to appoint three registered Architects to the Architectural Practice Board of South Australia, in accordance with the Architectural Practice (Election) Regulations 2025.

Nominations open: Monday 29 September 2025
Nominations close: 12 noon, Friday 10 October 2025
Eligibility
All registered Architects listed on the roll as of 5pm Friday 26 September 2025 are eligible to nominate and vote in the election. Please note: Board members may not serve consecutive terms exceeding a total of nine years.
How to Nominate
Nominations must be made on the prescribed form, signed by the candidate and two other registered Architects. The nomination must contain a signed and dated profile of not more than 200 words in support of the nomination. The text of the profile must be limited to relevant professional information about the candidate and other information directly relevant to the functions or operations of the Board under the Act. Optionally as part of the nomination, one head and shoulders photograph (taken within the last 12 months) may be included.

Voting Information
If an election is required, ballot materials will be mailed to eligible voters starting Thursday 16 October 2025. Voting will close at 12 noon on Wednesday 5 November 2025.
