SEWCDB election results

Elections for the South Eastern Water Conservation and Drainage Board (the Board) are held every four years. The Board has one member for each of the following electoral zones - Central Electoral Zone, Northern Electoral Zone and Southern Electoral Zone.

The most recent elections were held in July 2020. Mr Brett Nicholas McLaren was elected unopposed to represent the Central Electoral Zone and Mr Miles Weston Hannemann was elected unopposed to represent the Northern Electoral Zone.

Two nominations were accepted for the Southern Electoral Zone, and as a result ECSA conducted a postal vote, with voting closing on 27 July 2020.

The scrutiny and count of the returned ballots was conducted today (28 July 2020), with Mr John James Mullins obtaining an absolute majority and being declared elected.
