For the past 5 years I have lived in the Woodlands Ward. Its proximity to the city, easy access to transport, vibrant small businesses, parks and facilities provide for a unique lifestyle. I regularly enjoy using the parks, facilities and local businesses with my wife, our three sons and our dog Luna. If elected I would advocate for responsible and sustainable development to ensure that the character of the area and lifestyle on offer is maintained. I am committed to supporting local business, have a keen interest in planning, sustainability and advocating for the local issues that affect members of our community. I am a qualified lawyer and a committee member of the Roma Mitchell Community Legal Centre. Contact details: 0410 466 809 |

The Verrall family moved into Seaview Downs over 20 years ago. I served 2006-2014 as a Central Ward councilor and influenced the design and development of, the Aquatic Centre, the Murray Darling plan (on time/on track), and the Seaview High School Board (fundraising/pedal prix). Whilst working as a Technical High School teacher of STEM subjects, I was appointed Sports Master, to supervise, coach, and coordinate many individual athletes and teams. We shared school, Port Adelaide Council, and private facilities. I managed all "on field" incidents and followed up every "away" incident after consulting fellow Masters Association members. Many individuals and teams competed successfully locally and interstate. Add a family friendly, sportsman, lifetime community worker, IT professional, retired senior business change manager, to the elected members. At the 2018 Marion election all eligible voters were sent papers. 1 in 4 voted! At this by-election everyone vote. 1 Verrall. Now! Contact details: 8296 7690 |

I am a proud Moorak resident, where I live with my partner Melissa and our four children. I've had a wide variety of experience within the government and business sectors, operating my own large scale hospitality businesses for over 15 years. I was fortunate enough to be awarded a Telstra Small Business Award in 2012 and was an inaugural member of the NT Business Advisory Committee. I am currently the interim chairman of the NYE Festival Committee and a committee member on several other sporting and volunteer organisations in the region. If elected, I will bring a pragmatic and common sense approach to council. I will make evidence based decisions and engage with ratepayers to make sure council is operating in their best interest. Growing up in a rural town in a large family I understand how important our 'village' is. My husband Pete and I love raising our two children Jack and Mexie here while enjoying every aspect of our beautiful surrounds and beaches. Our small business has enabled us to meet both residents and tourists alike, as well as bringing people together. We have been showered with support and I would love the opportunity to give back and serve this community as it is so close to my heart. I believe we have a strong, forward thinking council and it is a very exciting time to be on board! I have no personal agenda, except to support decisions which are beneficial to the community. Over the past 10 years I have served on various community groups including The NNYE Pageant, The Fleurieu Coast Business Association and The Yank Youth Advisory Committee. Contact Details: |
