Your electoral district

Since the last State Election in 2014, the boundaries of 46 out of the 47 South Australian House of Assembly electoral districts have changed.

As a result, the electoral district you live in and will vote in at the State Election on Saturday 17 March 2018 may have changed.

The following tools can help you find and view the electoral district you live in:

The Interactive Map allows you to find and explore the boundaries of your electoral district by searching your address, selecting your district manually, or clicking on Find my location.

The Downloadable District Maps allow you to see the boundaries of each electoral district, as well as the suburbs, localities key roads, parks and waterways which form part of it.

Your nearest voting place

On polling day, Saturday 17 March 2018, nearly 700 polling booths will be open between 8am and 6pm across South Australia.  You can vote at any polling booth in the state, however voting outside your electoral district may take longer because you will need to cast an absent ballot.

Pre-poll voting centres will be open on weekdays between 9am and 5pm from Monday 5 March until Friday 16 March. Please note that only voters with a valid reason are entitled to vote at pre-poll voting centres at state elections. For more information, read more>>

The following tools can help you find and view the polling booths located nearest to you in your electoral district, as well as throughout the rest of the state:

The Interactive Map allows you to search and view the polling booths and pre-poll voting centres located nearest to your address or current location, ordered by distance from you.

The Polling Booth Finder offers a list of addresses of the polling booths located in your suburb.

The Digital EasyVote Card app includes a map of all polling booths and allows you to find the booth nearest to your current location.

Finally, in early March, everyone who doesn’t download the app will receive an EasyVote Card by post which lists the polling booths located in your electoral district.
